The LEED Green Building Rating System™ supports global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices. By helping projects earn LEED credits, our “Seating Green” chairs support LEED’s whole-building emphasis on sustainable development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.

LEED regional credits support environmental goals based on limiting transportation of materials to within a 500-mile radius. Many projects in the Northeast Corridor, Mid-Atlantic, and Upper Midwest can qualify for regional credits when purchasing Seating Inc. products. All projects regardless of location using “Seating Green” products can qualify for the LEED EQ credit 4.5 and MR credit 4.0.
